All amenities, including basic hair products, body wash, towels, robes, and hair dryers, are provided. If you require a hair brush or specific hair or body products, please bring your own.

A bathing suit is also totally optional – most people float nude as all rooms are private and you float solo.

Some people do fall asleep safely in the relaxing world of a float pod. Because of the high salt content, you will float whether you’re awake or asleep. You float on your back, and your nose and mouth are always well above the water line.

We recommend waiting at least one week to let your colour fully set. We don’t want the salt affecting the colour, or your colour bleeding into the water. If the colour is not rinsing out when you shower, it’s usually fine to float.

Though our pods are very spacious, they’re only meant for a single person to fully stretch out.

It’s 35 degrees Celsius, which is the same temperature as the surface of your skin. It’s neither warm nor cold, but rather very neutral

The 500kgs of Epsom salt dissolved in the salt solution of the float pod which creates the effortless part of floating. No matter your size, when you recline into the warm water, your body will float like a cork. EVERYONE floats.

The high concentration of salt creates a very hostile environment for all sorts of germs and bacteria. More importantly, the water is run through a filtration and purification process 4 times. Each system utilizes a large pool filter, hydrogen peroxide, an oxygen filtration system and ultra-violet sterilizer.

Before you float, you take a quick shower to remove body oils and products. After, you shower to remove the salty residue from your skin and hair.

The salt water can sting wounds, so we provide packets of petroleum jelly in each room to cover any problem areas. But if this is a open wound we suggest not floating until its healed.

Ideally, don’t shave at least 8 hours before your float. The salty water can be irritating or itchy if you do.

We ask that you don’t float whilst menstruating

CVAC THERAPY FAQS

If you have a question about your CVAC therapy session, please check here – or ask and we’ll be in touch!

Individuals at all levels of fitness seeking to improve their physical conditioning have taken CVAC™ Sessions totaling thousands of hours. Ear-clearing techniques are learned prior to CVAC Sessions to reduce the chances of any ear discomfort.

Dynamic changes to low-pressure air inside the CVAC Pod provide varying loads patterned to cause optimal adaptation to the body’s energy systems.

No, it is not altitude training.

The goal of the CVAC Process is not to cause an acclimatization response. The goal is to provide adaptation-based physical conditioning.

The CVAC Process exposes the body to changes in pressure, which set up waves of tension and resolution. The body’s adaptation response to these changes naturally and inevitably results in improved physical conditioning. This adaptation response is comparable to what happens when a person participates in physical activities that facilitate body adaptation such as swimming, yoga, interval and resistance training. All of these processes employ tension and resolution.

The CVAC Pod involves a low-pressure, dynamically varying environment. Fresh air is pumped in and pulled out. The hyperbaric chamber provides a static, high-pressure environment that is of high oxygen content.

Benefits similar to those gained through traditional aerobic and anaerobic exercise; allowing you to achieve better oxygen utilization, improved anaerobic energy production and improved metabolic waste removal.

To assure safety and comfort in each CVAC Session, we recommend that all individuals are without any physical indicators of an acute cold, flu, sinus allergies or infection, toothache or dental infection, swelling in the throat, or any condition that would prevent them from equalizing the pressure in their ears while using the CVAC System.

You can watch your session progression via the computer screen outside the pod as it charts the peaks, plateaus, valleys and drops, including the finish time of the session.

IV DRIPS VITAMIN INFUSIONS FAQS

This is an infusion of essential micro nutrients, vitamins and minerals to help support you and your body.

Vitamin Infusion IV Therapy is the administration of nutrients into the body through an IV drip, which is supervised by a Registered Nurse. This method bypasses the digestive system, allowing delivery of greater quantities of nutrients and promoting maximum absorption and supporting your body in numerous ways.

We have a Registered Nurse to consult with you and answer any questions prior to you session. They will also administer the IV drip and nutrients and monitor you for the duration of your session.

When taking supplement tablets you will absorb 10-30% of the nutrients and vitamins. IV therapy will enable your body to absorb 100% of the vitamins and nutrients!

For anyone undergoing active cancer treatment, we recommend discussing an infusion with your supervising medical practitioner. If you can proceed, then please have them complete and sign a referral letter to bring to your appointment. Download the form here.

Our Nursing team is happy to chat with you about concerns or questions regarding an infusion. Please feel free to call at any time on 9761 7037 to talk with a Nurse.
