Meet Dianne, our back of house guru. She takes care of all our systems, marketing, social media and helps keep the daily running of the Centre in check. Plus, she is the resident technical expert (or so she thinks!). She loves the lymph boots and red bed and always grabs the chance to enjoy a session whenever time permits.

Casey

Introducing Casey, our bright and cheerful wellness ambassador and client experience guru, who has been with us since the opening of the Centre! Casey's infectious smile and passion for health and wellness set a welcoming tone for everyone. With a dedication to exceptional service, she ensures every client's visit is truly amazing. Casey loves to float and is in the pod as often as she can manage!

Introducing Danielle, our energetic wellness advocate and client care specialist! Danielle’s zest for life and commitment to health and wellness shine through in everything she does. With a genuine love for people, she ensures that every client feels valued and supported. Ask her about the cold plunge benefits too - she loves it!

Meet Ben, our vibrant team member and wellness advocate! He's all about spreading positivity and helping others achieve their health goals. Ben's happy and friendly demeanor ensures that every interaction leaves a lasting impression, while his dedication to doing a brilliant job sets the standard for excellence. Ben does EVERY treatment in the Centre and is a wealth of knowledge!

Julia

Introducing Julia, our lively Registered Nurse and wellness enthusiast! Julia radiates positivity and is committed to assisting others in reaching their health objectives. With expertise in IV infusions, Julia provides attentive care and compassion throughout and following your appointment, ensuring you're in safe and capable hands. And when she’s not caring for clients, you’ll find her in the infrared sauna!

Meet Andrew, our skilled Remedial Massage Therapist. With a heart of gold, Andrew deeply cares for every visitor, aiming to support their health goals with his expertise. Andrew provides guidance on post-visit self-care, empowering clients to extend the benefits of their sessions and maintain their well-being. Andrew is a true therapy advocate and does almost every therapy in the Centre!

Our Story

Our Journey Towards Holistic Health and Wellness

LōKAHI Wellness was founded by Kerry and Scott Thurrowgood. They built the centre for people just like themselves. They believed that what they were looking for, others were too. And they were right!

Kerry was a Personal Trainer, Health Coach and Reiki Master running a private practice. Scott operated his own roofing company for over 20 years and was a competitive bodybuilder.

Both understand the importance for health and fitness for mind and body.
However, in 2014 their world was changed forever. Scott sustained a back injury which meant he was no longer able to work and they had to unfortunately close their roofing business.

For the next 2 years they spent countless hours at the doctors, neurosurgeons and travelled overseas to try anything that would heal his back or reduce his pain. The pain was debilitating and nothing seemed to aid his rehabilitation.

They started looking into alternative therapies. First they tried Infrared Saunas and the benefits were instant. They knew they were on the right track. With more research they tried Float therapy, Cryotherapy and Oxygen therapy. The difference
in his pain as a result of the treatments was significant.

However the constant driving long distances and attending
multiple locations to combine therapies was taking a toll. With a young family and extensive travelling time, the concept of LōKAHI Wellness was created. They figured if they were needing therapy options together and reduced travel time, others would be too.
